Give Your LinkedIn Profile a Makeover in Minutes!

Your LinkedIn profile is your online storefront, and just like any store, you want it to look its best. The first impression you make matters, and that’s why updating your banner image and profile photo is so important.

Step 1: Refresh Your Banner Image

1. Click on the the pencil icon in the upper right hand corner of your banner

2. Select ‘Change Photo’ and choose a new image. The ideal size is 1584 x 396.

3. Adjust the image to fit the frame using the Zoom and Straighten options.

4. Hit “Apply.”

5. Refresh the page to see the changes you’ve made.

Step 2: Smile Bright with a New Profile Photo

A friendly, smiling face is always welcoming. Ditch the outdated or stark photos and choose one that shows your personality. Here’s how to update your profile photo:

1. Click on your profile photo and select “Add Photo.”

2. Take a new picture or upload an existing one ideally, 400 x 400 pixels. Aim for your face to fill about 60% of the frame.
